Your record and your interviews are yours.
We never use them to train AI, never sell them, and never show ads.
Roleora never saves your audio. What you said is kept as text until you delete it.
Your voice and your interviews
When you answer out loud, your voice is sent to Microsoft Azure. Roleora never saves your audio.
From each interview, we keep:
- the questions, and your answers as text
- how long each answer took
- your code, in a coding round
- the report and its scores
These stay until you delete them. Delete an interview, and it is erased from our live database.
The camera is off unless you turn it on for one interview. Our servers get numbers from it, not pictures.

Your record is the work, projects and other entries you save in Roleora.
To ask about your projects or write your resume, Roleora sends your saved text to AI models on Microsoft Azure.
When you save a work entry, the AI reads it to find your skills.
The AI never reads:
- journal entries you have encrypted
- the sensitive part of your application profile: your address, date of birth, category, passport number, current salary (CTC) and roll number
- vouches from your peers
Those sensitive details are also encrypted one field at a time. They never appear on your public profile, in a share link or in what employers see on Roleora.
We test the AI in Roleora on made-up example people, not on member records.

Your record is private unless you choose to share it.
Each of these ways to share is off until you choose it:
- a share link you create and send, for example with an application. Search engines do not list it.
- a public profile, if you switch it on in Settings, Privacy and data. Search engines can list it.
- an AI tool you connect yourself
An employer sees you when you apply to their opening, send them a share link, or switch on the employer directory. The directory is off until you do.
Employers filter on the facts you submitted. Roleora never scores or ranks candidates for employers.
Entries you mark private stay out of every document Roleora writes and every page you share. Our server checks this before anything leaves your account.

Download your whole record as one file, free, whenever you want. It is in Settings, Privacy and data.
The file lists the documents you uploaded by name. Download those separately.
To delete your account, go to Settings, Privacy and data and type the phrase it asks for.
Your data is then erased from our live systems. There is no undo, so download your record first if you want a copy.
Some records are kept after that. Your sign-up record is kept sealed for 180 days, and only our Grievance Officer can open it.

Journal encryption is off until you turn it on. When it is on, we cannot read those entries.
